As promised in Tuesday’s post, a bonus Everyday Food Challenge recipe from issue #14, Jarlsberg Spread. Are you familiar this outstanding cheese? Exported from Norway, Jarlsberg cheese is known for its distinctive sweet and nutty taste. To make this delectable spread you’ll need about 2 cups of grated Jarlsberg, a little less than a cup of mayonnaise (I really enjoy the olive oil based mayos on the market right now), a tablespoon each of finely chopped red onion and parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Stir it all together and serve with the very best crackers you can find.

This looks so simple and sounds very good. Will definitely have to give this one a try.
I love jarlsberg! Seriously folks, try it if you haven’t.
Laura, this spread is always a hit at parties. Long live the Jarlsberg.
