This week’s baking project came about after stumbling upon yet another wonderful food blog. This time it was Bakerella.com. I saw her on the Martha Stewart show some time ago, and forgot about her ingenious creations. Last Christmas our friends Tom & Brett made us some similar cake balls. They were quite delicious and I decided it was time to give it a try. My recipe of choice, Bakerella’s red velvet cake balls. A snap to make. Just bake a boxed cake mix. Let it cool. Crumble it in to a large bowl. Add a container of cream cheese frosting. Mix together, form balls and then let them chill a good long while. They are simply amazing after being dipped in white chocolate. Now, what to do with the nearly 80 cake balls in our house…
