Mike's rant of the day

on

It’s a pretty quick rant today. I’m tired of people using the term “hubby” to describe their husbands.

Maybe I’m just a tad bitter because I can’t legally marry my partner Greg and refer to him as my “hubby”? Though I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t. It sounds so juvenile. If you’re old enough to have a husband, you shouldn’t be referring to him as your hubby.  He has a name, for goodness sake. Why wouldn’t you  just refer to him by name in your conversations with others?

So won’t you all join me in boycotting the use of “hubby” in all communication? It’s the right thing to do.
