It’s confession time, friends. On Tuesday, after weeks of trying to resist, I downloaded Miley Cyrus’ new hit Party in the USA. And I think that my iPhone is revolting by becoming increasing sluggish.
I’m not proud of downloading the song. In fact, it’s kind of embarrassing. I’m nearly 37 years old. I’ve been trying to keep our iTunes library Miley and Taylor-free. I feel that I’ve failed as a music listener. They don’t even play this song on the radio station that I regularly listen to. The damn song’s so catchy. I was caught at a red light this morning with it blaring in the car and with me bopping up and down in my seat car dancing. I got some pretty puzzled looks from passersby. But tell me, can you resist great song writing that can rhyme stilettos with memos? Maybe it’ll be ok. Maybe Miley can get along with David Byrne, Keane, Bruce Springsteen and all the other musicians in my iPhone. Most likely she can at least buddy up with the Spice Girls. Zigazig ha.
