Pecan Cake with Rum Frosting – from the latest issue of Real Simple magazine

I've got a roast slowly cooking for dinner tonight. I made this cake for dessert. The cake batter on the electric mixer beater was delicious. The frosting tasted great too. Click here for the cake recipe. In my opinion, a perfect fall meal.
