Last night Greg and I went for a walk on the newly opened leg of the Towpath. When complete, the Towpath will run from Cleveland to New Philadelphia. The new section connects to downtown Akron with a dramatic bridge over state route 59. It was uphill the entire way to downtown. The walk back was a lot easier. Here are a few photos from our journey.

Is the path as pretty as it looks from your pictures??
It is very nice. It’s not as landscaped by 59, but it is very cool how they got it to connect to downtown through a small tunnel and then the bridge. There are also some very cool architectural elements along the way. I love how there are train tracks high above and the canal down below.
